We're having another charity event! Thursday, April 24, 2008
"Dining Out For Life" -- This event benefits a great cause - "The Chicken Soup Brigade". I hope you can make it to The Hangar Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner for this special event. We'll be open until 9:30pm on April 24 and in addition to our regular breakfast and lunch, we'll be serving a special dinner. Stay tuned for the menu. "Dining Out For Life" is a grassroots event held every April to help provide food, shelter, and insurance for folks living with HIV/AIDS in Seattle. This is Lifelong AIDS Alliance's 15th year hosting the event and they're hoping to make this the most successful year ever. The proceeds from their partner restaurant's "Dining Out For Life" donations directly benefit the Chicken Soup Brigade, Lifelong's food program. Chicken Soup Brigade provides culturally and ethnically diverse meals and groceries for people living with life-altering diseases.

Home baked tortilla chips served with cowgirl salsa

Salad
Fresh greens with tomato and red onion drizzled with avocado cilantro dressing.

Entrée
Fish tacos served in warm tortillas with a house-made guacamole sauce, tomato and green onion
topped with fresh romaine
Served with black beans and melted pepper jack cheese

Dessert
Chocolate Chipotle Brownies topped with a dollop of whipped cream
Stumptown coffee

$25.00 per person

Dine for Darfur...great success!

Hi Everyone!!

Last Tuesday, March 4th we participated in Dine for Darfur. We had a great day and we were able to raise $400 for Dine for Darfur. Thank you Thank you to all who came to the cafe, your support is much appreciated! I'd also like to thank my mom who came up and cooked the main course...she did an amazing job. I'd also like to thank my staff...who worked a very long day!

Dine for Darfur at The Hangar

Hi everyone!

On March 4th 2008, (next Tuesday), The Hangar Cafe will be participating in Dine for Darfur. From open to close that day, we will be donating 25% of our sales to the relief efforts in Darfur. This is a really great cause...so if you need a coffee, pastry, lunch or even dinner, please stop by.

The sun is out!

Here we come Vitamin D!!! Much needed here in Seattle. It's amazing how the sun will put you in a much brighter mood. I love it!
I'm going to go outside and soak it in!

Gerogetown Art Attack

Georgetown's first Art Attack was last night. It was great! A lot of people showed up and the hangar had a good crowd as well. Next time we're going serve dinner and have some live entertainment. Don't forget, the art attack will be the second saturday of each month in Georgetown!

I had a blast and i'm stoked that we're doing this again next month!
